Fantastic. Nuanced, well-written characters that are more than their despair, anger, hate, or loss. There's a sense of urgency, but sometimes also hope. They felt real, terrifyingly real.

It was interesting to think about climate change in the inverse, with the planet freezing out. For being split chapter by chapter between four authors, it held its story and characters together well, though the pacing had a little push and pull. It held a great discussion on immigration, conflict, and who should decide who deserves what or if anyone even could or should.
