All in all I loved the writing style. It's almost poetic at times, but then again it's drastic and explicitly violent. I enjoyed the different timelines / narrators / perspectives. The old woman talking about her life and the man turning it into a stage play in his head.
In the beginning the book is quite funny, but then it gets darker and darker. At times I almost couldn't bear it and was shocked about some things that were said, especially about se*ual violence.
