If I could give a duology 10 stars, this one would be it.
Picking up a few days after the end of Crownchasers, Thronebreakers follows Captain Alyssa Farshot on her quest for justice against the boy who stole the throne and her friend's life.
This book was so action-packed, emotional, meaningful, beautiful, hilarious, heartwrenching....and probably a lot of other words. I cannot do it justice in a review. I love the characters in this book so much. Alyssa, Hell Monkey, Faye, Setter, and some new characters absolutely steal the show....and the empire.
I...am honestly so soft for Hell Monkey. He's the perfect character. I stand by that to the end of the galaxy.
My brain is absolutely mush after bingeing this book, so I will leave you with this: READ. THIS. SERIES.
