It's been a while since I read a PKD novel. I'm glad I decided to pick this up. I loved it but then again there probably wasn't much of a chance that I wasn't going to love it. It has the words Time Slip in the title and it's written by PKD. Done and done.

I'm sure for some, when read through the lens of the 21st century with its views on autism and schizophrenia, it can be tough to read. I enjoyed the world-expanding parts of it the most. The black market guys selling caviar smuggled from earth, the lapdog psychiatrist who just wants in on Arnie's inner circle, Jack dealing with his schizophrenic episodes and seemingly apathy towards his marriage and his father, and Manfred who holds the key to the novel.

I thought the last scene was great. I'd read it again.

As a parting thought, and not to be that guy, but this novel would probably make a really good miniseries and/or part of an anthology series. I would have loved to read more about
the years from when Manfred leaves them to when he comes back to his home in the present time as an old man having lived hundreds of years old and wanted to say goodbye to his family
