finished for the american psycho references (not worth it)

not funny enough to hit the dark comedy/satire mark for me, took about 100 pages to figure out what was going on with all the POV switching and by then them doing coke or ecstasy or acid and sleeping with someone every page was extremely old

all the characters are assholes. its hard to keep track of anything with the switches between pov and constantly getting like 50 names shouted at you.

The entire point is how unlikeable the characters are in one way or another (or all ways in the case of some). So if you don’t like that then this will NOT be for you. It also offers a very nihilistic view of humanity and sexuality. However, I enjoyed it for whatever reason. I liked that it was different and written in train of thought.
