A little long for toddler/preschool story time, but a winning story none the less.

Fun story about this cool pig and how she grew and was loved by her two dads, based on true story with fun playful illustrations and a few pictures in the back too.

This book is requested several times weekly. We all love Esther’s story, and we try to follow her life and the lives of her brothers and sisters through Facebook. It’s been great.

The True Adventures of Esther the Wonder Pig is a fun book for learning about pigs!  It's based on the true story of a pig named Esther and her dads, Steve and Derek, who adopted her thinking that she was a micro pig.  They soon learned that that was not the case - all pigs get big - and Esther now weighs in at about 600 lbs!  I loved the gay representation, cute illustrations, and repeating motif.  This is a story about love of animals and will hopefully inspire kids to think about animal welfare.

This was really good! Two men adopt a pig, which they think is a miniature pig. She isn't. Much in the way of pets, her antics cause trouble but her smile and attitude make her parents live her just the same. It makes me want a wonder pig of my own.
