this show was a masterpiece. i bought the scriptures just so i could annotate it and look back at my favorite scenes over and over again. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, you absolute genius.

there are two things that bother me. one: the conversation between fleabag and belinda has some outdated feminist ideas that definitely exclude the experiences of trans people. It’s just one conversation but it’s noticeable. two: jake, the teenage son of one of the characters, is given some stereotypically autistic traits and then regularly called creepy. felt a little off! idk! im adding transphobia and ableism to the tw solely bc of those two instanceswhatevertheysay's review against another edition
