Affinity is the new standalone, enemy to lovers romance by Harlow Layne. This is Jenner’s story who is Alex’s (Hollywood redemption) friend. Jenner is a Hollywood bad boy actor who is trying to build his life back after a divorce.
Abbi has just finished her studies and moved to LA with her friend to start a new job as a publicist and the girls decide to head up to Vegas to celebrate.
Abbi and Jenner wake up in Vegas together with no recollection of what happened the night before but it’s very clear that they had a wild night together and now they are… married?! This situation is seriously odd. They can’t remember anything at all!
The circumstances are very awkward for both but especially for Abbi. She is now married to a famous actor, their wedding has gone viral all over the web and her new boss is his publicist. Poor Abbi has no options but to continue with this very real pretend marriage and hoping she can keep her job.
I loved seeing how the couple interacted together, they were complete strangers trying to cope with all these external problems like the paparazzi and dealing with family and friend issues that would test the limits of any established couple. It is fast paced, entertaining, suspenseful and steamy and of course it ends with an awesome HEA.

Waking up in Vegas and finding out you are married to your childhood crush and have no memory of the events is not the great way to start your day or anything for that matter. However, Abbi and Jenner just so happen to be in this very predicament and are forced to see it out. What’s the worst that can happen?

From the start there was chemistry between Abbi and Jenner, though sometimes it was more towards the side of dislike, but there is plenty of lust and attraction between them. The banter between them throughout the story is amazing and hilarious at times. The progression of their relationship was quick, however, I loved how they helped each other out. It was easy to fall in love with both Jenner and Abbi.

There were some unexpected things with this story and a little bit of suspense/drama. I loved getting more of Harlow’s previous characters from her Fairlane series, too.

If you’re looking for a Vegas marriage, a struggling celebrity, a little suspense and an independent heroine Affinity is one to check out!

What happens when you wake up in a hotel in Vegas with a new tattoo and a husband? These are a few of the things that Abbi is going to need to figure out. Her life is about to change in a major way.

In pure Harlow Layne fashion, this story gets real, and raw and I’m here for it. Harlow writes from her heart and you can feel the emotions jumping off the page. Abbi and Jenner’s journey isn’t an easy one, but watching these two come together and learn to trust again is beautifully done.

Harlow Layne knows how to write heartfelt stories that suck you in and this is no exception. She is one of my 1-click authors, she should be yours too! Do not miss out on this story!

Another awesome read from this author. An enemies to lovers romance that packs all the heat, sweetness, playful banter, and a bit of suspense.

Jenner and Abbi's story started after a crazy night in Vegas. Abbi's celeb crush was Jenner so when she woke up next to him she was very shocked. Jenner had been heartbroken when his ex wife left him.

I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.

I suggest reading the Salvation Series by Corinne Michaels before reading books in the Society, but it is not a requirement.

Key Points for this story in the Salvation Society Collection:
- Romantic Suspense / Enemies to Lovers / Fake Marriage
- New CJJ Employee
- Movie Star
- Salvation Series connection is Catherine from Belonging Duet

*sigh* Jenner and Abbi!!!

I really did enjoy this book. Even though they dont remember getting together let alone marry each other. I love how they instantly clicked. I love the chemistry between both Jenner and Abbi. Jenner's crazy ex wife ruined his life until Abbi accidently came into his life and helped him get out of the dark hole he was in for so long. Abbi was just what he needed to finally realize that he was capable of loving someone and to know that not everyone was like his ex wife. She tore his walls down.

I really did like everything about this read, between the accidently marriage to having to stay married, to the CRAZY EX WIFE (Can't stand her).

If you like harlow layne or haven't read anything by her yet
i really recommend affinity!

I have read a couple of this author's works, but nothing from this series this branches off from. And this was a solid enemies to lovers "accidental" wedding situation. Jenner and Abbi are made to make the most of it and they do. I read this really quickly and really liked how the story flowed. I can't wait to read more from this author. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.

I devoured this book so fast I feel a little hung over. While the surprise wake up married in Vegas trope has been done countless times in romance books, the author’s way with words made this one a stand out for me. Abbi wakes up with her teenage movie star crush naked in bed with her. Something she has no recollection of. Jenner is a Hollywood bad boy and can’t do anything else to mess up his chances to get back in the movie game. They had to put on the performance of their lives for the outside world. But behind closed doors, Abbi and Jenner could be real with each other. Ms. Layne wove a tale of heartbreak and loss, of betrayal and friendship. She wove all these characters together while making Abbi and Jenner stand out as the stars of this story.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

I’m new to the Salvation series but have read and enjoyed quite a few by Harlow Layne. Affinity was no exception. I was hooked from the beginning just from the hilarity of the situation between Abbi and Jenner. The people around them just add to the story. Lots of laughs, love, and heat.

We meet Abbi, a young fun girl who gets a job at a public relations firm after her brother gave her a great recommendation. Abbi goes to college at LSU and meets Sophie, her roommate and her best friend. They celebrate her new job by driving to Vegas and partying it up.

I absolutely love love Abbi & Jenner. The way their relationship evolved was absolutely adorable and breathtaking
That epilogue was everything I knew it would be and so much more.

Harlow, you rocked it out the park again. I loved Jenner and Abbi so much I’m literally crying at the epilogue
