Every book in this series was my new favorite book in the series. I'm genuinely astounded that these little books with such little buzz have blown me away like this, and that the entire series was enthralling. With fantasy, especially political fantasy like this, usually the first book is incredibly slow and the second book is faster and more intense and then the third book is an epic battle that culminates in the deaths of at least one favorite character, but MA Grant and her glorious "HEA guarantee" not only kept me enraptured throughout but gave me a satisfying happy ending, not the fanfic kind full of deus ex machina and unrealistic redemption arcs. I'm genuinely obsessed.

The final book for this series by M.A Grant and we get to learn more about the final brother in the triumvirate. Lugh’s tale is sad, funny and inspiring.

The story did a good job of bringing together all the characters from the previous two books and finally tying the story together with an epic battle.

Out of the 3 books my favourite though is still the first book
