As a bookseller, I downloaded this as a Libro.FM ALC (Advanced Listening Copy) and finally got around to listening to it this past weekend. It was...rough. It gets two stars from me because 1) it takes guts to put one's emotions and trauma out on display and 2) there were some lovely lines interspersed. Beyond that, however, this felt very juvenile in delivery, though not in subject matter (huuuge TW for s*xual assault, intimate partner violence, ED). Very much part of the crop of "Instagram poets" that have risen up over the past few years. Best of luck to the poet, but I'll be passing on their next volume.
