This might be one of my favorites so far this year. It focused on teen addition which is heartbreaking but needs to be talked about

Haven't cried this much while reading in a while. Glasgow has the ability to make her characters so complicated emotionally and so... Human

This book took my breath away... so many times. I've been where Emory is but with my boyfriend not my brother. The pain, the struggle, the love. The experience that she has with pain pills, her understanding of his addiction, the feeling looked over. This book was raw, real and broke my heart. I loved this book. Fuck your shoes
