This book was so cute! It tells of a hedgehog who is looking for friendship but he mis-hears it as "friend ship." He sails along and finds other animals to join him. They would sail north, south, and east but would they ever find the friend ship?

MMM... gonna be fun at storytime - we can do animal sounds as the various animals board the ship, we can pretend we are all ON the ship, and we can all holler "Yes!" along with the passengers when another creature wants to come aboard.

Sweet story about friendship. I think this book would be a great addition to a friendship unit or a book that is used during Morning Meetings to talk about where to find friendships.

Very sweet story with warm, adorable illustrations. It made me chuckle near the end. I could see this being a fun readaloud.
