Well-written, fun, steamy romance. I'm certain many readers will love! For some reason, these characters didn't suck me and one of the plot lines really didn't sit well with me.

Ivy Hayes and her foster sister Darcy Cole have started the company Ditched, to help people with breaking up with someone else. She has no time or want in her own life for relationships and keep her heart guarded the best she can.

Becket Jones is an NFL Quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars. When his best friend Emma Jane gets Ivy's number for Becket he has no idea what to expect but soon the two begin texting.

Becket is looking for the right girl but Ivy is not interested in settling down. Can the two find a happy medium or are they both destined for heartaches? When someone looks for revenge how many will get hurt and will the truth of what one has been hiding cause everything to fall apart?

This was such a great book about giving yourself a chance at happiness when the idea of love scares you.

Ivy was an interesting character in that she did not have an easy go in foster care and we never know the extent of it until almost the end of the book. Even though Ivy and Darcy had a crazy company with what they did I liked that they were trying to avoid the "drama" that certain breakups had.

Becket was awesome and we first met him in "He Loves Me...Knot" where he was an amazing best friend to Emma Jane. I truly wanted him to find his happy ever after as he did deserve it. I liked that he was not into casual hookups and was really looking for the one. In his heart he knows that Ivy is the one for him but he has to convince Ivy that she is the one.

I hated the twist in the book as I hate how evil some people can be. I wondered at the beginning of the book if something like this was going to happen but I thought it was going to be something a little different.

Towards the end my heart broke for Becket when he was trying to get Ivy to be honest with him but she wouldn't open up!

The end was great and I can't wait for more with these characters!

Ditched by R.C Boldt is a contemporary sports romance that is both heartfelt and humorous.
This is the first book by R.C Boldt that I’ve read and I can guarantee I’ll be reading many more.
I enjoyed Ivy and Beckets story immensely. These characters felt real and their interactions didn’t feel forced in order to shape the story. I loved the banter and funny side of the book as well as the more emotional and heart wrenching parts. It had a good mixture of both. I also really enjoyed getting to know the secondary characters and cant wait to go back and read their stories as well as look forward to the future stories as well.
I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

This book was KILLER. I love R.C. Boldt she is the queen of romcom I love it. I liked seeing Becket in another light and who wouldn't love Ivy come on. Great characters, well written, and a fantastic story all wrapped in a fit of giggles throughout. Thank you R.C. for another great read.

Ivy along with her foster sister, Darcy and friend, Leif found a successful nitch with their business Ditched. If you have a relationship that has run it's course and you're not sure how to end things gracefully, without drama, without backlash Ditched is who you call.

Becket Jones is NFL guarterback. This guy is not the typical big headed, strut their stuff sports star. He's very down to earth. Super nice guy and to put the cherry on top he's very good looking. ~sigh~

Due to her past Ivy does not do relationships and avoids the limelight at all cost. Becket is the opposite in regards to relationships. He's doesn't do one night stands.

I absolutely love the banter between these two. I also love the way Becket actually 'sees' Ivy and knows when to push and not to push.

As you read along you get trickles of Ivy's past but you know there's more to it and when she comes out in the open with it I was gutted for her but I was also so very proud of her of no longer letting it control her life and any possible future she has.

I also feel the secondary characters really added to this story. Blue is my girl!

When their present blows up they have to either work together or getting ditched.

This is the type of book I absolutely love. As I read along it just kept getting better and better.

Just going to put a thought out there....it would be awesome if Darcy has a story that involves either Dax or Tank.

I just KNEW I was going to love Becket's story!!!💖😍

I first met Becket as Emma Jane's male best friend in He Love Me....KNOT. I knew then that there was a lot more to him and I couldn't wait to get my hands on his story. He was just so fantastic! I totally loved him. And now I am head over heals in love with this man! Ivy is the woman that he is interested in, but she doesn't do relationships...its all about the sex with her. But we all know Becket wants more! So it is now his mission to get her into "more" with him!

Some of the things that he says to her really are above and beyond swoon-worthy! I can not even begin to tell you how may times I felt my heart flutter! There was some good old fashioned unfulfilled sexual tension. (🔥more like delayed gratification🔥) There were some jaw dropping twists in the story. And I cried!!! 😭😭😭 Oh did I cry! If I could give this book more than 5 🌟 I really would! I expected great things from this story and I was NOT disappointed! You don't even need to read He Loves Me....Knot to love Becket and this story (but it really would be better if you did because that is a great book too!)

After reading "I love you... KNOT" I was hoping there would be a book for Beckett. I love him. Not a huge fan of Ivy. Audiobook narrators were only ok.

pretty solid book. i thought the pacing was a bit fast and it didn’t flow well but it was pretty enjoyable. i like this trope of the guy pursuing the girl. it was a good read and i am glad it was different from the douchebag guys i tend to read about. i loved beckett, his heart was very sweet, loved animals and kids and is genuinely a really good guy. he was patient and loved ivy with his whole heart!

Every time I read an RC Boldt book, I think "this is my favourite" and then I read another, and that becomes my favourite! This is another one of those!

I was so excited when I started reading and realised this was Becket's story. I love how these books all get intertwined with each other, because something RC is fantastic at, is creating amazing characters that you can't get enough of *coughs* Tank needs a story, just sayin ;)

I love the emotions evoked in this story, and the witty banter between Becket and Ivy... and Becket and Dax... and Becket and Tank... okay, I just love the banter between them all! I especially love the Word of the Day and how they managed to slip those into casual conversation, as a fellow wordy, this made my heart sing.

It was nice to revisit EJ and Knox too. You form a bond with these characters, so when they're brought back into another story it's like welcoming an old friend.

I adored this story. The will they won't they of it all, the mystery behind Ivy, the confidence of Becket. AND the little bonus at the end! Squeee! It was fab!

Don't think it was as good as Love Me KNOT but it was pretty close

The heroine is wonderful, loved her, loved her for being the kind of Woman she grew up to be, loved her for fighting for her man in the end and for not backing down

The Hero is sickeningly sweet. Adored him in the first book and after reading about him and his nieces and his dog... my god... #swoon
He is determined to get the heroine to fall in love with him, He does everything in his power cause he knows she's IT for him. Ah my, my heart can hardly grasp it :-)

A must read!!

(also because of the writing style and all the new words you are going to learn ;-) #wordoftheday)
