Can paint a picture with words, but many times it’s too too much!  The plot stalls many times due to an over usage of descriptions.

I had heard about this book twice this week. It started off as good . It draws you in at first. Maybe it's the language of the book. It feels too old fashioned in today's world. I had to pause and realize that I don't know the meaning of some. I am reminded that not all classics age well.

This is a book written in 1851 and the language uses phrases and lexicon no longer deemed appropriate.

Phoebe Pyncheon is the single most insufferable, annoying character in the entire American literary canon.

My bc pick for July. It's a slow read as the language is quire descriptive and uses words not common today. But a good and interesting story.  I'm glad I read it.
