this book was so good! i love casey mcquinston with my whole heart. i was invested in the side characters just as much as the main characters, and all of them were amazing. it took me a little while to like chloe, but by the end i was in love with her. i kinda felt like there were two stories inside the story, and i like the second one better, but overall, i loved it and i would definitely recommend

In the beginning I had a lot of trouble reading it, I couldn't understand what I was reading and who the characters were. But the further in the book I got the easier it started to be, it was still difficult for me to read it but it was easier then the start of the book. The end of the book was actually interesting and adorable, it was kinda what I had expected but also not at the same time.
This book wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either, I dont think I would ever recommend this to anyone.

DNF @ 32% I'm just bored? Not compelled at all ?

This one is just not doing it for me. I loved McQuiston's first novel, but I have liked everyone book less than the last.

I may try again in the future.

The beginning of the book seemed interesting, but the plot fell apart halfway through. The characters in the book lacked depth. Also, a little bit of everyone eventually found themselves to be queer. This is of course ok, but I missed more quality, now the story mostly offered quantity in people finding their own identity.
