I rated this book a 3/5 ⭐️. It took me a while to think of my review for this book. It was definitely a different type of writing style then I’m used to the beginning was kind of slow, but eventually it picked up around the middle. I feel like the book was a little bit predictable. It was very interesting reading from a first person point of view to a third person point of view. I really liked the involvement of the letters. Overall, it was an okay read.

A nice lighter read about topics that could be heavier.

A woman feels content and safe in her life with her daughter and husband until a scandal involving her husband disrupts everything. The story follows how she deals with this and also flashes back to her teenage years where she showed a much more vibrant version of herself.

What a perfect book. From start to finish an absolute delight! I have enjoyed all of This author’s books, but this might be my favorite. Zinny/Ginny is right up there with my other favorite MDLS character, Claire, as someone I feel like I know, want to share a cup of coffee with, and will miss now that I’ve finished the book. Highly recommend!

Marisa de los Santos doesn't disappoint with another novel about relationships. This is the story of four high school friends and the night that changed them all forever. And it's the story of a fifteen year old daughter who helps bring them together twenty year later so the truth can finally come to light.
