Oof. This book is not good. Imagine every soap opera trope you can think of, happening all at once, to the same person. Finished because it was a very quick read.

Over the top wanna be love story. Starts off interesting but then down hill. Patterson should stick to crime novels.

This was the first book I read by James Patterson and my initial thought was, "why is he so popular?" I didn't particularly care for the story, although the characters were interesting enough. It was predictable and sappy.

This was a hard one to rate. The story itself… was good. I really enjoyed it. Finished it rather quickly. This is partly because it’s just an all around pretty easy read along with enjoyable. Why I gave it a lower rating is just the writing style. He used the characters names far too many times in too short of spans. Like, normal human beings do not speak that way. But the story line as I said was good!
