I was a little disappointed with the fact that this starts and then bam Saint is free. Like it felt like there was a build up to them having to rescue him but instead Izara watches his dad demand his son not be killed and then poof, he's free and this is like chapter 2 or something? I forget. I apparently forgot to write a review after I finished it. Anyway, it was fine though. Saint is still my favorite.

Again very fast paced and the spicy scenes? Bloody hot. We have a but of hinting towards some mm which i’m excited for and some of our FMC’s powers have started to fully come to the surface. With the second book our FMC trying to get used to them with people trying to stop her at every turn.

Not loving it. For such a short book it took me way to long to read it and I don't think really anything happened except for the cliffhanger at the end... There are not any good reasons for why people do the things they do, it just comes down to "reasons". The bake sale thing was just really weird... I don't think I'll continue on with this one.

Alright

This was a good book, but it felt rushed in places - or like entire explanatory scenes were skipped. From the slow burn beginnings in book 1, we find the entire harem stepping up and stepping into this one... and it’s hot, really hot, even if some of it makes little sense emotionally. Case in point, Phoenix is still being a raging jerk, yet in one scene he is selling cookies lamenting how much he hates the silly funding ploy and how much he hates feeling anything for her, BUT the next scene he’s apologizing to her! Did we miss a scene? There are a few other moments like that, but o won’t spoil the story by explaining. And it IS a good story, despite these complaints of mine. It’s intriguing.

I need more...

Amazing! Just finished it and I'm terribly in love with Izzy, Saint, Phoenix, Syko & Malek. Although if I'm being honest Malek was my least favorite this time around. I can't wait to find out all of the secrets and how they're going to form a cohesive group.
