This is the first book I have read from Giovanna and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have given 4 stars because Beach Read and The No Show which I have read earlier last month are something that I enjoyed slightly more.

Found the character of Lizzie completely relatable l. I think it's something we've all experienced with pressures from people about when you are going to move onto the next step whether that be marriage or having kids.

Will definitely read some more books from Giovanna in future.

At first I really struggled to get into the book. I think it was a mix of it not readily being my usual genre of book mixed with it being a bit to close to my own life I just couldn’t get into it, I found it boring. I put the book down after a few chapters and then a few months later decided to give it another go!

It was a lot better than I expected. I really related to the Lizzy and found her funny and witty. I enjoyed that it wasn’t all about loving someone else but more about self love and accepting who you are as person! I’m glad it didn’t end with her getting a boy as it’s not all about boys making your life complete, you can do that on your own! You are enough and no man should ever make you feel any different!

There were definitely moments that still bored me, but on the whole I found the book funny, witty and relatable
