Very interesting tying the development of a Harvard Sophomore into major works of literature. The most ambitious take on it is an interesting, modern, and relevant recharacterization of Proust. And lord knows, Proust needs it. The narrator Selim leads a contemplative life towards a destiny of which she can merely grasp the edges.
