Very much enjoyed this read and the characters, but honestly was ready for a trashy romance and it was surprisingly minimal to the plot.

Love and Other Puzzles by Kimberley Allsopp
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
———
Rory, in her 20’s creating tv magazine puzzles for a living. She has always lived a predictable mundane life, when she suddenly feels everything in her life is wrong from her career to her relationship and life needs a shake up. She starts using the clues from the NY times crossword to be spontaneous and where they lead her is a whirlwind journey.
𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘨𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯
Ah, I loved this one. It was so heartwarming watching Rory’s journey of self-discovery. Seeing the shift in her characters perspective and with such a fun witty plot idea using the crosswords. At first everything about Rory makes you want to scream but you soon learn to love her quirks and understand why she is the way she is. It was the perfect feel good book and once I started I really couldn’t put it down, there were surprisingly a few moments where I actually laughed out loud and if that’s not the sign of a good book I don’t know what is.

I just couldn't get interested in the book and the cringing was too much for me

The main character was frustrating I found it way too annoying to continue!
