This was a good read for understanding how these power-seeking, manipulative people think, act, and rationalize.

It's not an enjoyable read and not one that is inspiring. Just educational--an example of what to avoid.

Honestly, I just didn't find this one particularly interesting. I didn't find Jordan Belfort to be anyone worth really remembering and his personal journey didn't interest me in the slightest or even hold my attention - and I listened to this book while walking my dog with nothing else going on.

I might have finished it out of boredom, but other books in my Libby hold que came up and the rental for this one lapsed and I didn't bother renewing it.

a challenging book to read is how I would summarise it. Jordan Belfort is no author, this is evident by the lack of vocabulary. swearing is almost on every page this isn't an exaggeration. Belfort says that the culture of wall street but I find it hard to believe. the most egotistical character i have read about. it's not enjoyable to read something so poorly written, but it gets harder when the character is so unlikable and cocky. when he describes women, I feel like I'm reading a first-year students university essay whos struggling to reach to the word count, adjectives are overused. sentences go on for ages and they could be shorter and much more sharper. there were interesting things to this book, like when he talks about drugs and overdosing. very poor overall

Quite similar to the movie, but a long book. Overall if you have watched the movie, would not really recommend.

An interesting insight of the world of fast-paced and questionable/illegal wealth, as well as the spiral downwards from. Great character arch(s)/development - lots of references to sex & boners though?

*slaps audiobook* You can fit so many dumpster fires into this bad boy.

An absolute train wreck from beginning to end and I loved every minute of it.
