This book was unbearably hot—unholy, even. Sierra Simone has crafted erotica at its finest, where every page sizzles with forbidden passion, leaving you feeling EVERYTHING. The age gap was that perfect, tantalising touch, adding a layer of temptation that kept me hooked. But what really sets it apart is how beautifully complex the characters are. Both of them are navigating deeply challenging moments and life-altering choices, yet they’re unwaveringly there for each other, no matter what. And the narrators of the audiobook? Insanely good. They brought every sinful moment to life, making me giggle, kick my feet, and lose myself in the story.

Sinner’s ending is a masterful blend of heartache and hope. My heart shattered for every character, especially Sean, who opens up so deeply to Zenny. Watching him make himself vulnerable, trying to be the man he believes she deserves, only to face her overwhelmed rejection… it was achingly beautiful.
Sean’s mother’s passing brought a raw, devastating layer that left me breathless and heartbroken. I found myself sitting there, staring into space, wrestling with an ache that felt so real.

Sierra Simone captures the painful complexity of love and timing with such precision, and despite the heartbreak, a sense of hope lingered. This story isn’t just erotica at its finest; it’s a journey through the highs and lows of love that leaves you breathless and reflective.

Truly, I’m lost for words—it’s unforgettable.

I read Priest and Sinner back to back, and let’s just say I’m surprised that a series about priests and (almost) nuns fornicating would have so much heart.

Sinner was 3.5 stars for me. I like Zennie quite a bit, Sean decently and just adored Reverend Mother. Age gaps always bother me but SS did a fine job ensuring Zennie had full agency, even more than Sean.

I have to say, the author NAILED the final chapters with Sean’s mother and his reckoning about death and God. If you’ve experienced the death of a sick parent you’ll see how well she captured the sorrow, and relief, it can bring. Truly a breathtaking, heartfelt sequence that made me think about family, death, God, and all of our chosen paths in life. This book series is about way more than just risqué affairs. I was not prepared.
