I love love loved this book! The premise is two strangers meet while stuck in a closed snowy highway. After they go their separate ways, they keep bumping into each other.

I loved everything about this book. The writing is amazing and the characters are very relatable. My favorite scene in the book was not part of the core story but Noelle helps a friend in need.

this was so boring tbh. half of the story was just ed/noelle and then a little bit of sam/Jenna. there was no time to build up the chemistry and the mc's just had like a couple of scenes together every few weeks

I went through a few phases with this book. I almost stopped reading because it wasn’t what I thought I had wanted to read but I pushed through and by the end could not put the book down, wanting to know more about Noelle and Sam.

I'm sorry, but this book wasn't for me.
It got me SOOOOO MAD. Why, you ask?
Well... This has to be the most deceitful synopsis of all time. I was expecting a cute and fun romantic story. It even started out like it could be just that. The writing was making me laugh at first even though some subjects were harsher. I was screaming cause... Leonardo's references, hell yes. Talking about my hometown, amazing! But then... that was it, it's probably all I enjoyed.

To me, this book wasn't a romance, it was more about the general life of Noelle, so just fiction. Sam (the love interest... apparently) wasn't even a big part of the book overall... And I couldn’t see enough of him to get to a point where I liked him. By the end of the book he was still a stranger to me...

Ed was a pain in the ass. And you know what is sad? I feel like he was there more often than Sam. So it was kind of frustrating at one point. Can Ed just go away please... but nope he was always there, being his shitty self...

Noelle did not even once get mad (which honestly got me SO MAD). It was so frustrating to watch her go on. Can she get mad one time! Throw a drink, slap someone!!! Many, many frustrating moments for me... I think it was more frustrating to me because I'm probably like her... and I hate that about me so when I read I want fictional characters to be better than me! Do what I say, not what I do okay hahaha. I wanted Noelle to grow. But she stayed the same. Unable to fight for herself. Only succeeded cause life got this way.. not satisfying to me.

Ok, so I think it's enough to sum up my frustrations with that book. Also, please note that I was not doing that well when I read it and I wanted an escape from reality, a fun read and it was definitely not what I expected or needed so of course this all affected my enjoyment of the book. Ok, bye!
