I think the whole book was slower than other mysteries I've read, but the last 30 pages and the last line were really good, and I would recommend it to a friend :)

I like most of the characters in this one over One of Us is Lying. It wasn't groundbreaking, but an enjoyable read.

Book started off slow then it picked up. Got slow again. Secrets were revealed and at first the one revelation surprised me but then I remembered a clue and the bubble was busted. When we find out who the killer was that was such a letdown because you get a reason for the killings but not a full admission. I would have really liked a point of view chapter from the killer to get their thoughts on everything. I felt the ending was rushed even with that twist that was most likely for shock value. I also didn’t feel any connection to the characters. None of them stood out to me or had personality.

I like this a lot. I love how there’s always mystery and murders but its not the main focus cause McManus also always focuses on characters and their lives. I like that a lot. And I liked that this surprised me a times. And I really liked the ending.

i’m confused sarah went missing in 1996 and the twins were born in 2002 but peter said he thought she was their mother???? unless she’s actually still around? but that just makes stuff more complicated again.

anyway peter is actually a terrible horrible man disgusting I hate him. I loved brooke but- ew-. and viv is slightly messed up like wth. i feel bad for katrin but idk if I should bc we don’t really know exactly what went on with her. I love ryan. and malcolm and ezra and mia and ellery. and nana.

this definitely wasn’t as good as the one of us is lying series but it was still enjoyable and I liked it a decent amount.
