It reminds me of every other cheesy romance with the bad boy/good girl trope. Nothing special about it. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great.

Dang Elle! Forget those 1 star reviews, this book has to be my absolute favorite by you so far! I literally devoured it and want to reread it now that it's over.

4.25 stars! I really enjoyed my time with this book and with these characters. I love the setting of this book and the found family in here too. I love how Mac stood up for herself in the book and grew throughout the sorry. I’m excited to continue on with the rest of this series.

I am 99% sure I read this exact book years ago but apparently it’s not republished

I had low expectations going into this one because I read a bunch of reviews saying how much they disliked the hero and how he ruined the story for them. But, I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.

I do understand where the people hating the hero were coming from because he didn't have the best intentions when he met the heroine and he blatantly lied to her. And his friends were also dicks to the heroine for most of the book for no reason other than she's rich. But, somehow, all the characters grew on me, especially the hero's twin brother. It's the Elle Kennedy magic, what can I say?

Looking forward to book 2!
