Like the first book, it was interesting yet I still didn’t care too much for it. The dialogue was kind of cringe, and it was to where I was wondering if this is how kids in London actually talked.

The fact that it was almost a completely new cast of characters kind of put me off. Also I knew the lamb and the goat was supposed to be that one boy and The Kid the moment Matt started describing them. I’m getting real tired of figuring out connections long before it’s supposed to come to light.

I’d binge-watched seasons 3-9 of The Walking Dead in less than a month and I was hoping this book would help me stop thinking about it (since season 10 isn’t available

Excellent second book. I enjoyed the backstory. Still curious how the "disease" came about...hopefully, the next book will tell more!

More like 3.5 stars. Overall, I really enjoyed the ride that I went through with this book. However, the first third of the book was quite slow and it took huge determination for me to get past it. After that, though, it goes pretty fast-paced. All in all, I quite liked it :)

It's not as good as the Enemy, but i'm not comparing. (this review won't make any sense if you haven't read the book because i will be just jumping from scene to scene)

I really did not like how mean those girls on the bus were, but were in the middle of a zombie war and all they can think about is wow Jack is so ugly because that one flaw he had. And about Jack! How can he die! I to burst in tears when he was at his house, it's so sad. The book was good until the end though, things weren't explained very clearly and i was more confused as it went along so it was harder to enjoy the book. What crew stayed at the museum, David or Jordan? I thought it was Jordan but then he pops up later and starts to rule everyone at the castle place. I don't know why no one tried to kill him.

Book 2 of my reread - I liked this one more. Ed is one of my favorite characters and his character growth is great. This also brings in most of the story line for the books to follow.
