4.5 Funny. Vain Apollo is cast to Earth from Olympus by Zeus in punishment. He finds himself in a mortal body of an acne faced awkard 16 yr old. During this installment, Apollo begins to learn humility and empathy as he teams up with some of his children at Camp Half Blood. Percy Jackson makes an appearance and for fans of that series, this won't disappoint.

The first two books to start this amazing series. Highly recommended for those who haven't read it yet (why haven't you:(( )

there's nothing wrong with it, i just struggle with riordan's writing style and humor (i always have) and i can never tell if i care about the characters or not. i'm open to continuing with this series, however, maybe, we'll see.
