I loved this book it was so fluffy and funny,  bodyguard romances are seriously the best and this one was so cute! The side characters were alot of fun as well, I especially loved Iris.

Wow! Okay another banger read I simply love Brix and Harley. They're 2 emotional distant workaholics who hadn't had someone to hold on to. Both in different ways but they see each other and respect and care so much. I do love a bodyguard romance. All the side characters are great as well. (Also this is what I get from reading these out of order lmao but Jay and Soren cameo!! Lol) A super fun book I'm glad I got around to it.

More actual bodyguarding than I expected, should’ve known it’d be quality literature in that regard from Eden Finley. Her books always have depth.

Cute quick read. Took me most of the book (up until the mention of the song Hat Trick Heartbreak) to realize these characters first appeared in the Fake Boyfriend series! (I don’t think reading those is a prerequisite though)

So much fun. So over the top and probably unrealistic but so much fun to listen to. Iggy Toma is a fantastic narrator as always and I think I might prefer this type of book from Eden Finley over the hockey ones? (Is that sacrilegious? 😅)

The biggest reason this isn't getting 5 stars is that I hate the way huge age gap relationships are portrayed. Harley discusses a past relationship he had as a new 18 year old with a 35 year old as nothing serious and just convenient and later says that 35yo also had sex with another 18yo. This is just gross. It should've been framed as a gross thing for this older man to do-taking advantage of a barely legal teenager just so he could have sex with the youngest legal person he could find. This whole book is filled worh massive age gaps which is the point but if a line is never draw, it feels like these disgusting taking-advantage-of-barely-legal-kids relations is acceptable.
