I have to say I loved New Moon so much more than I thought I would. I like the sass and sarcasm and honestly half of the thoughts for Bella and retorts made about or by Edward have me hysterical. While broody, it was a good book that captures the romantic in me that loves this teen drama.

Wow. I thought twilight would great and that the rest would be meh. BUT NO! New Moon was even better.
I was so sad for Bella
Spoiler when Edward left her. I cried! Edward... you idiot..

Of course before that happened, there was
Spoiler the not-so-great birthday party,
where Carlisle mentions religion. Ugh, it makes me sick. I know that its hard to have a religious vampire but I think that even vampires should go to heaven.
And then my favorite part of the whole book:
SpoilerJacob is a werewolf! So unexpected. Not! First of all, werewolf were mentioned in the first books and so it's assumed that since vampires are real, werewolf are to? Also, in the copyright page it shares a summary and has this thing were it mentions the subjects of the book. Example: [Werewolces-Fiction, Vampires-Fiction etc,]

I really didn't like the fact the Bella didn't tell Charlie about anything. I'm mean come on. Wouldn't it be so much easier if he knew?!?
Bottom Line:
Story: 5/5
characters: 4/5

I love this series.
I can't help but HATE how Bella falls apart in this book. It seems she can't survive without a man in her life. The way she needed a man just made me sick. It made the story hard to follow through on.

A bit boring comparing to twilight but it wasn't as disappointing as I remembered it. Bella's sadness remind me how much it sucks to break up

''Edward leaves Bella after an accident that happened on her birthday thinking he is protecting her from his dangerous world . Bella's heart is broken and she's really suffering. she becomes friends with Jackob Black who helps her through the darkest times and they get closer to each other as the days go by ,but Bella think they're just friends while jake is hoping for more .Bella gets better though the pain never fades away ,till another secret comes out. Jackob is a werewolf, the natural enemies of vampires .which cause another problem for Bella cause she'll have to choose between her best friend and her only love .By some awful mistake Edward think she's dead so he goes to the Voltori (the closest thing vampires have to royalty )and ask for his own death but luckily Bella comes to his rescue just in time and the Voltori let the walk away when they promise to make Bella one of them'' :D

Simply it's a real heart breaking story but it's totally amazing.
I was really mad at Edward for leaving Bella .sure i know he only did that out of love and meant nothing but her own protection but that was like super stupid . he can't take that kind of decision all by him self :@ what's the hell was he thinking ??!! Did he really believed that she'll be fine ?! Bella said she loved him more than her own life and that he was her entire world . she made it perfectly clear that she'd rather die than be away from him . but he leaved and left her going through hell- FORBIDDEN TO REMEMBER ,TERRIFIED TO FORGET-.she's being hunted by a sadistic vampire who wanted nothing but her life . Also-like all that wasn't enough already- Bella keeps risking her life just to have some kind of ''imaginary moments'' where she sees him by her side worried about her . she lost her first and only true love just in a blink and didn't even think about hating him for all the hurt and pain he caused .As soon as she knew he was in danger she rushed to his rescue. AND Once he came back she totally forgave him,all her pain ended and all the suffering was like a bad dream .like the massive hole in her heart never existed in the first place .now ,that's what heart breaking can possibly mean. :S

this was SO hard to read. i really enjoyed the first book but oh boy this one i suchca step down… depressed bella is extremely annoying in the worst way possible.
the movie is infinitely better just cos you don’t spend so much time reading about bella’s thoughts which are basically “i miss edward” and “i want to kill myself but not kill myself” a thousand times.
and edward is EVEN MORE pathetic and melodramatic (they really found each other huh) i’m glad he was barely in this one.

get’s half a star cos jacob is great (in this book at least </3), i wish he would stay like this forever and find a decent partner (NOT bella)

I don't think I have ever read about a more pathetic character than Bella. If I met someone like her, I would slap them. I liked the first book, but this was just plain sad. The beginning is good, and so is the ending but other than that the author could have skipped a few more months. I really like Jacob, but it was pretty obvious where that storyline was going. I agree with other reviewers, there is nothing that interesting about Bella besides the smell of her blood, that would make ANYONE fall in love with her, she is too annoying! She acts like she is about 13 and yes I am no longer a teenager, but I am struggling to discover why people think this series is so great. There are billions of better vampire novels out there. I don't think I would have LOVED this series as a 13yr old.
