I forced myself to finish reading this bc my book club picked it for some reason. It was all over the place & nothing really made sense- the motivation behind the killer, the point of the con artist bestie, why sis’ wrist kept itching

I was really into this book. But it then it started to feel like one of those movies that ran out of money so they end the movie just to say they completed the film. The ending literally made no sense at all. I was left with more questions than when I first started the book.

I struggled with the rating of this book. I felt drawn to the characters as they were each written well and quite interesting in their own rights. I did catch myself flipping pages quickly, like I couldn't read fast enough. I felt that in the end, the "who dun it" didn't make sense. I feel that there were a few chapters that could have been cut from the story and it still made sense in the end, since, as I mentioned, I felt that the "who dun it" didn't make sense to the overall story.

I wanted this to be better. Unfortunately the dialog was choppy and whenever it got interesting it would get bogged down with struggling plot twist. I think the conclusions needed work and the ending could have made some more sense.
