I loved the illustrations on this one, but I find it awkward with pre-readers to explain the humour when a word has been crossed out and replaced. This could just be a weakness of my reading style though. Overall, it was a good book, with a good message, and the pictures deserve to be paused over.

Quite a cute book that says you don't need to fit anyone else's expectations of you. You can dance the way you want to!

So I'm always a fan of the books that tell girls they don't have to be a princess. That being said, I LOVE this book, and how it says you can be your own princess. A girl can be girly and a princess without being someone else's opinion of what that looks like. You don't have to be perfect- you can make princess work for you! Why dance gracefully when you can just dance?! Love the idea of this one.
