I've enjoyed her past mysteries, with their academic setting. But this one is pretty light, even for a light mystery...

I have read all the other books in this series and, thought it's been some years, I know I enjoyed them all. However, I gave up on this one after about 90 pages. The dialogue seemed horribly stilted and it felt like the author was trying too hard to tell me the inner dialogue of Karen.

If you are looking for a good academic mystery, start with Ms. Dobson's earlier efforts.

Plot is so-so, and I couldn't stand the junk that rattles around in the main character's head.
