I want to start off saying I did enjoy reading this book. There were some really hot scenes and the plot was quite engaging despite being often ridiculous.

The story has no depth and presents bdsm as something capable of rapidly healing mental health issues.
The book is about these tough mafia guys who are soft as marshmallows inside and also of course very romantic and tender with their partners while still being ruthless killers. Which, again, can be very fun to read if you can suspend your disbelief.

The first big plot twist just simply didn't make any sense considering we got so many different POVs that would have indicated it beforehand. Felt like the author just came up with it at the moment to add to the drama.

The biggest sin of this book was, however, the Russian nicknames that Kane uses. Some of them are google translated nicknames that only work in English and make no sense in Russian.
I understand that it would only bother native language speakers, but it would have been so easy to find one to proofread a couple of words before publishing the books.
Also Kane having Russian accent after moving to US at six years old makes no sense.

Kane head of the Russian mafia and his second/enforcer Blaze realise they have a mole but searching hasn’t pulled anything up however they know it’s someone close to them. When Kane attends a function he spots Jaxon and they hit it off straight away and things heat up pretty quickly . Blaze is a true psycho he also has mental health issues and my heart broke watching what he went through  he couldn’t work out his feeling for Eli but Eli was there for him regardless . The spicy scenes are what you come to expect from Ames Mills and each one left me 😮‍💨 especially the group scenes 🥵
I’ve seen people comment they need an FMC in a RH book but believe me when you have got 4 sexy as sin men and a sausage fest to outdo all other sausagefests you’ll change your mind . I loved each and every one of the guys but if I have to choose it’d be Blaze because psycho duh!
