Another great installment of Mountain Mercenaries. I loved Kannon and Ev. I love this serisa. There's so much action. It's hard to put your Blondie down.

This was a great read! Pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention the entire time. I loved getting to see Ball deal with his issues regarding working with strong, capable women and he quickly knew he made a mistake. Everly knows what she is doing and works well with Ball once they start to get over the comments he made and hang ups he had. Everly makes it obvious pretty quickly that she is different than his old female partner and way more capable. It quickly starts pointing out the flaws in his thinking and he quickly starts making adjustments and acknowledging it. I enjoyed watching him build a relationship with Everly and one with her sister Elise as well. This story was great and I loved getting more build up in the middle as well. Can’t wait for the next book!

This was pretty good.
I did get the impression the author was taking a different direction in writing this book but it did shape up nicely.
Like the inclusion of a deaf character very interesting.

Defending Everly was an entertaining and engaging story. That had real moments of action and suspense. Not to mention it features two characters Everly and Ball who both have hang ups and issues, and I enjoyed how those issues were both explored and settled. Plus, I really liked how Ball and Everly's relationship developed, and the connection Ball and his teammates forged with Elise was super cute. Furthermore, I found the storyline very interesting, especially with Elise being deaf and the adversary being particularly twisted.
Nevertheless, I did find this story slow to start and at times the pace of it seemed to drop off, especially after the initial rescue. But it's fair to say, I was engrossed throughout, and I would happily recommend this story to others.

Love!
I am current on all of the series in both the Mercenaries and all the rest of them. Enjoyed learning more about Ball. Always nice way to spend the day listening/reading the journey of the friendship with the main characters!

Enjoyed every second of this book
I held my breath as I read the last few chapters of this book. The scenes were intense.
Everly and Ball start off on the wrong foot. The men are tasked with helping Everly find her teenage sister who has disappeared. The police think she's just a runaway but Ev is not so sure.
