I didn't care for some of how the parenting was handled, but still liked this book overall.

This book turned out to be just as exciting as the synopsis promised. For a while—probably getting close to half-way through—I was wondering if the story would ever deliver on the promise that “she’s faced with her worst nightmare”, when suddenly BANG it happened. I had been mulling over all the possible ways the worst could happen, and had come up with this scenario (except with a different person) so it wasn’t entirely a surprise. Even so, it was quite shocking and really made the story fun—although full of tension for a while there!

I also found it interesting to see how Chautona crafted the ending of the story, bringing the whole plot together in the end. It was also interesting to think about the fact that the first two books would have acted as the first and second acts, while this last would be the third act, which means in the end that this last book would be kind of like one HUGE climax. That would take some work to write, because having a several-chapter climax is one thing, whereas in this case it would be a one-book climax.

It was also fun to try to figure out the three acts in the individual books—and seeing how they fit into the overall plot. For me, this reinforced the fact that no matter what you write, no matter what part of the story it is—whether it’s a scene, a couple of chapters, or a whole act—everything can have three acts to it (set up, confrontation, resolution). Now, to apply that to my writings….

Aggie's patience is stretched to the max by attitudes, puppies, and holiday traditions. Those things can wear on any mommy but let's throw in wedding planning while homeschooling five kids with three toddlers under foot! Now that's enough to put a frazzled mommy in the fetal position! Aggie pulls through it all with help from her friends. All mommies need friends like that!

Luke, Tina, and William are an indispensable support system through every trial and storm. Have the tissues ready, the one-year anniversary of the accident rolls around and brings a new wave of grief. There are plenty of funny kid moments and moms will relate to Aggie's full spectrum of emotions.

So good!!!! So many happy things happened in this book, one wonderful thing in particular. Read this out loud to my sisters, and we all loved it!!! ❤

Spoiler Ahhhh, Luke is soooo perfect for Aggie!!! He's super sweet with her and the kids. <3 So happy things turned out the way they did!
Also, William got SO much better now that he's not trying to be in love with Aggie. (And now that he has Tina) He was super good in this book!

This final story in the Aggie chronicles was a nice end to the previous two books. I enjoyed completing the final story for Aggie's happily-ever-after ending. Again, I was irritated at times with the same struggles and irrational behavior of some characters, but it didn't overshadow the rest of the story for me. I look forward to reading more novels by this author.
