This book was good. It had a little bit of a slow rough start for me. I started reading it awhile back and actually put it down and forgot about it until i heard thr movie was coming out so i decided to finish it and I'm glad I did. I sort of suspected who killed the family, but the way in which it actually played out is not how I expected it at all and I'm happy it went the way it did. All in all it was a good read.

I actually really loved the writing style — gillian flynn is popular for a reason, after all. a gift with words, a master of her craft. but for some reason that I can’t pinpoint at the moment, I wasn’t feeling it

It’s not bad technique Wise but it is a chore and while I found Ben interesting I hated his chapters and I feel like the book didn’t take seriously how long it takes to suffocate someone to death it’s not a accident death but incredibly premeditated. I thought Libby was interested though.
