I rate this book βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ! I liked how strong Fumi and Gabriel were. The characters were believable and were characters that I was rooting for. This is my second dark romance book and whoa was I in for a journey. π€£ππ¦ i highly recommend this to other fans of dark romance. I longed for justice for Fumi and I was definitely upset how she was treated at times. Love HEA! ππ₯°

I love Gabriel! I just knew I would and this book proved me right. He presents himself as the golden gentleman but booyyy does he have a dark side. A monster lurking beneath his good side. This man was spicy with his primal kink π and his protective and jealous moments over Fumi that had his carnal monster rearing its head? Perfection.
Fumi is a queen. I adored her. She's sassy and not afraid to use every resource and advantage when people are being a little nasty to her. She's got her own little dark side that met Gabriel's monster so well. They were a perfect match for each other. They're both accomplished lawyers and they both have dark and dirty desires. I enjoyed watching them go from secret kinky partners to falling in love and deeply caring about one another.
The spice! It ate π€ Gabriel and Fumi gave us their all. That primal play though ππββοΈ
I couldn't get enough of this book! Jagger Cole hasn't missed for me. I loved pretty much every moment of this and needed moorree because I'm greedy for more domestic Gabriel and Fumi!
Some things that missed the mark for me: really it's these slight things that may not matter. But I think some convos between Gabriel and Fumi on page were missing. I also really wanted to see them spend more time together (outside of being kinky) honestly after deciding their marriage isn't fake. And to me, the climax of the story felt rushed.
