When Ted gets turned down at his current job when he makes the statement about being on the K9 Search and Rescue team, he decides to apply in other places. He starts with training at a major training facility in Texas. No matter that he lives and has a girlfriend in Colorado. Deanna is not happy with a long-distance relationship and is not willing to make the move to Texas.
While in training, Ted participates in the ‘real thing’ involving a mudslide and also an earthquake. Extenuating circumstances turn up with the earthquake in Colorado.
Full of action and good things.
Another good one by Jenna Brandt.

It was slow, rather boring and the dialogue felt stilted. Couldn’t feel any real connection between Ted and Deanna and they said they’d dated over a year. Overall Ted seemed to have more passion for being a K9 cop then for anything else including his girlfriend.

Was fine

Like the rescue parts best, even knowing it's never that easy. Enjoy K9 stories. It was a good afternoon's read.
