This book really gets a 3.5 from me. It's a great book in-so-far as it gives the back story of President Snow and tells of his growing up and why he is what he is when we meet him in the original book series.

I did not expect to enjoy reading this prequal about President Snow, but I did! It was interesting to hear his backstory, and I loved his tribute!

Bardzo doceniam, że mogłem się przenieść na nowo, od zera, do uniwersum Igrzysk Śmierci, bo wcześniej byłem tylko zdany na reready. Książka ma jednak trochę specyficzny język, no i nie podobało mi się samo ścisłe zakończenie, chociaż mogłem się domyślać, że Snow raczej nie będzie dobrym człowiekiem pod jej koniec.
