Ok, I felt a bit better starting this one than I did the first one. It wasn't as slow and I feel that the characters developed a lot more. I like that we learned about Jon's history before he came to Misty Hollows.

Darcy uses her sixth sense to help Jon solve a mystery from his past that has invaded his present. She runs off from their first official dinner date when she has vision of Jon standing over someone while she is the in the restroom of the restaurant. After a dream vision and Grace getting attacked, she is even more determined to figure out what is happening.

I like these stories so far, but not sure if I want to keep paying for them. Not available any other way in our area.

The perfect book for a rainy day... Some t'aimes I envy Darcy's powers and most of all her super hot boyfriend. Darcy, Jon and Smudge are the best detectives in town or at least in Misty Hollow :)

The first book in this series was OK but not great. Some series pick up from book 2 so I thought I'd give it a shot.

The plot is thin, the characters are undeveloped and while the writing has promise it needs work.

This could be a gritty, interesting series with quirky characters and mysterious storylines but it falls flat. It feels like it is aimed at young adults but I suspect that it isn't really the case.
