This was a good book for someone who is often intimidated by the complexity of primary philosophic texts. It was pedantic at times though, and at others, it assumed the reader knew more than they likely did. Overall I enjoyed it, because it made philosophy something accessible and applicable to my daily life, no just a random bit of fluff in the attic of my mind that I don't see a use for. Maybe I'll pick up Rowland's other books at some point too.
