Een mooi geschreven verhaal over een Joods meisje in de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Verschillende kampen, ghetto's, en toen Oscar Schindler. Ik vond het erg interessant om te lezen!

My Survival: A Girl on Schindler's List is one of the best historical fiction books I have ever read. This book is about a girl named Rena Ferber (at the time), who was born in 1929. In 1939, when the Nazis invaded Krakow, Poland, Rena and her mother, Rosa, found themselves on Schindler's List. This book is not only about the horrors of the Holocaust, but about how one man's kindness saved 1,200 Jews.

There is just something so interesting to me about the Holocaust. This book was very well written and definitely worth the read. My favorite line in the book was when her mom told her... In life, not everybody is going to like you, and you’re not going to like everyone, either. But that’s no reason to hate them.

This book does a great job of explaining life as a Jew on Schindler's List without going into too much disturbing detail for to read children. I will definitely be recommending it to the students at the school I work at!
