This is the least strong book in the series in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong though I still enjoyed reading this book. I just found the antagonism between Stevie and Greer to be annoying, I felt her reaction didn’t match what he did. As their friendship grew and their relationship evolved I enjoyed their dynamic more. It was fun seeing how Greer who thought he was anti-love and anti-kids, fall in love with Stevie and her daughter Macie. After binging this entire series I can’t believe I have to wait a few months for the next one!

I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought i would. I mean, it was ok, but just not for me. For me the plot was too fast. It has some potential, but i didn't like the characters.

This book is a solid 3 stars for me. It was good, and an overall enjoyable read. Well edited and written and wasn't hard to wasn't to finish. But I won't be coming back to it, wanting to re-read, or thinking about it for long.

Additionally, the book opens with an event between the two characters that kind of frustrated me and left a sour taste in my mouth (mild spoiler of first part of the book). The h is being sexually harassed and physically blocked into a corner by a drunk man and the H sees what's happening and rescues her. It's then a *thing* for a number of chapters that she doesn't thank him and now she "owes" him. What he did was the literal bare minimum expectation from a decent human. You don't protect people from assault for thanks, you do it because it's right. And he keeps mocking her for not thanking him. Ew.

Overall, I liked the plot, it's very low conflict and high spice, and the characters do make sense together but there also wasn't a lot that made this book any better than "good".

This series is so good and I love all of them so much. The characters are always well developed and the stories are just a joy to read, and Glove Save is no different. I loved Stevie and Greer, the way they’re both adamant about not getting into a relationship with each other and the gradual connection that they have. I also loved Greer’s relationship with Macie and the way that develops over the course of the book. A classic, fun hockey romance, with depth but it never gets too heavy.
