This book presents a lot to think about, and it did take me a few months to get through. But my copy is full of tabs to mark passages that resonated with me in many different ways. I can't recommend this book enough. Heartbreaking and hopeful.

Very interesting insight into her life in Tehran. I studied this for my English Literature degree, so we also talked about how her perspective is rather privileged and not entirely representative, but it was still insightful and I enjoyed her writing style.
