It was just "Ok". Nothing I would share with my little reading group.

I really wanted to like this, and the concept was clever, but the execution didn't pay off. The story just felt a bit flat, shallow. Vera Brosgol's illustrations were fun, though.

Vibrant illustrations and some clever puns; what's not to like about a book that features finding the right book for the right reader?

Okay, so a superhero librarian isn't completely cutting new ground - think the movie/series the Librarian. But it is not typical. And this is a librarian who's secret power seems to be getting anywhere at the right time and giving the right person the right book. Clever and cute, apparently I like clever and cute. And bright shiny colors. Sure it is silly but it works for me.

How do you save the world and stop evil plans? With books, of course!

When I ordered this, I thought it was a graphic novel. It's not. It's a picture book. It was still pretty good and really cute though.
