Great, spooky buildup, but I’m not entirely sure what to make of the ending. Somewhat predictable, and it left me a little cold (and not in the chilling way the best horror stories do).

Sensaciones encontradas con esta lectura. Me gusta mucho este relato, como mantiene la tensión a lo largo de todas sus páginas y que va in crescendo hasta su resolución final. A pesar de que he disfrutado de la lectura he acabado algo cansado de la estructura narrativa que usa Lovecraft y que repite en todos sus cuentos. Después de leer 4 de una tacada me queda claro que lo mejor para disfrutar de Lovecraft es hacerlo en sorbos pequeños.
