Listened to an audiobook so I could multitask with this one. I do believe you become a little more emotionally attached to books you actually spend time laboring over, reading. However, I did think this book was pretty decent. I did think the characters were in and out of the labyrinth a lot though, didn't know what to think of that. Of course they got lost and needed help finding their way. No spoilers, but this is Annabeth's first time receiving her own quest, can't say more than that. Things are very hard for her in this book.

yeah the last battle isn't realistic at all but who am i to complain? this book is just percy adventuring with a bunch of people who have a crush on him and honestly, good for him. i like book 3 more, but this is still decent and a good bridge for the final installment.
