Okay. This is the 2nd book of the Golden Boys series and let me just say WOW. The first boook ended off in a cliffhanger and it was actually crazy. Like jaw dropping. Honest to God didn't think the hatred in this book that some characters have for each other would grow but it did. But it made for a good read. Just the way it is written really makes you root for certain characters and wish for others downfall. There is a constant reoccurence of these teenagers being lied to, being blackmailed, threatened, etc. But the worst part is that it's done by people too close to home.
The main female character is so strong and has experieced a lot of hardship in her life. But she has found someone just as broken as her.
In this book they continue to uncover heartwrenching secrets and confront their paths while simultaneously making sure they can keep their stong relationship together even when uncovering the harsh truths. Like thses books just get progressively better.
I'd really recommend this book if you are into dark romances or you want to get started on them. Also please pay attention to the trigger warnings. Make sure you read the first one first, it doesn't really make sense as standalone.

What the hell is going on in Cypress Pointe???

Starting book #3 right away because I need answers. Is Hunter innocent? Will Blue do what Vin told her?

The secret West wouldn't talk about was obvious from the start and the secret was laaaaaame af. Kinda disappointing.
