Not my nonbinary ass getting jumpscared with nonbinary specific transphobia. Literally edit that out and I’m sure this book would be great. Enjoying it otherwise but I don’t need to read this rn so dnf at 22%. Maybe I’ll try again when trans people have rights.

This book picked up slowly for me, with the writer’s dialogue style throwing me off of the plot at points. However, towards the end, I began to appreciate the layout of the book and writing a bit more. And I realized I felt a much stronger love for each of the characters than what I thought was developing throughout the book. The book of mainly about finding yourself and relationship with parents, friends, lovers, bosses, etc and how those change throughout your 20s, for better or worse. The last chapter gave me (good) chills and felt very relatable.
